HOPE

The tree dropped a seed on the ground below,
It hoped, when the sapling emerged, that it would grow into a big tree,
The mother deer gave birth to a cute little one,
Before he got up on his feet, she hoped someday, he would run free.

The guy who raced last continued to compete,
Hoping he would have a strong finish to the race,
The guys who were second and third raced in hope of victory,
The guy who led, continued to push, hoping he would remain the ace.

When he did OK he hoped for good,
When he did better he hoped for the best,
That's when he realised hope is always there,
In different forms, itself it will always manifest.

When all lights went out when there was darkness around,
A little candle still burned brightly in the corner,
When everything was lost this candle of hope was alive,
It kept him going on, hope said it ain't finished till it's over.

When he had nothing left he still had hope,
It was the last thing he had at the end of the day,
Is it good or is it bad to hold on to hope he asked,
Hope is a good thing he always heard the wise men say.

He knew everything he had lost but kept going strong,
They said he should stop his future is all gray,
The wise men said, hope is all he holds on to,
Who are you to take a man's hope away!

Hope is in the endurance, to go on in tough times,
Hope is in the motivation, to do better than what you have done,
Hope is in the inspiration, to do the best you can do,
Hope is in everything you do, to make each day better than the previous one.

Hope is in kindness, to make life better for others,
Hope is in love, to make life happier for you and for them,
Hope is in generosity, to give people an opportunity,
Hope is in faith, to believe that you will have what you want , it's only a matter of when.
