Lost or won?

Lost or Won?

An interesting question which I have always found not as straight forward as it looks. Seems a matter of perspective. Let us see this in light of our recent Olympic performance. Two women, who WON millions of hearts the world over, actually lost their matches! So what would you say Lost or Won?

Equating to some real life situations, we often argue with our loved ones, have heated arguments with a view to win the situation or have the final say. If pushing for our view to be the final say, makes our loved ones sad, have we Won or Lost? How can you ever say you have won when there is dissatisfaction amongst those around you.

You take a decision in life, a decision to do something, to make a change. Then if you are successful you have won but if not, you have learnt a lesson! You have learnt that it cannot be done in the particular way you tried, or may be you want to try something else. In fact even if u get successful at the first attempt you might have missed some greater opportunity that would have come to you had you moved on! Nothing is certain, so... Won or Lost?

If u have won a situation but lost the person, have you won or lost?
If you have failed but learnt a lesson, have you lost or won?
If you have won hearts while losing a game, have u lost or won?

Life is all about moving on, winning hearts and spreading love! That's the real victory!
