She walked onto the stage to a thunderous applause. She stood in front of the mic and acknowledged the huge audience. She bent down, picked up the guitar and put its strap around her neck. The audience became silent in anticipation. She confidently strummed the guitar and they went berserk again. She walked up to the microphone, while gently strumming her guitar. The audience waited with baited breath. She recited,   “Behind the wall, I lived all my life, To emerge from there, A lot I had to strive.   Along he came, And held my hand, We crushed the wall, To rubble and sand.   Like a rising sun, Steady, though slow, I reach for the zenith, With ever increasing glow.”   The moment she ended, the drums kicked in followed by the other instruments and the concert was on its way. I Am Sorrow

You always blame me, Call me the start of depression, Though if you look closely, I am your own creation.   You might despise me, hate me, Often, I am misunderstood, For it is because of me, The meaning of happiness is understood.   Why do I come at all? Is a question yourself you must ask, Expectations aplenty or faith too little, Or maybe, emotions hiding behind a mask.   Seasons change, people change, The sun that rises, soon will set, Then happiness will last forever, Why do you expect?   But, like all other emotions, I too will go away, You must understand the fact, That I’m not here to stay.   While I’m here, don’t resist me, Embrace me as one of your own, Go out, meet people, talk to them, I maybe, but you are never alone.   Then one day the time will come, For me to bid adieu and retreat, But, somewhere down the line my friend, Be sure, again we shall meet.

Humpty’s Redemption

Humpty’s Redemption   Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall, All the king's horses and all the king's men, Couldn't put Humpty together again.   Humpty was shattered, filled with regret, He knew, soon, him they would forget, Resigning to this fate, he knew was wrong, So, he made a decision, Humpty was strong.   Putting himself together wasn’t going to be easy, But, to start with what he had was the key, So, with utmost love and patient care, He got to work, without much fanfare.   Slowly, he climbed again, up the wall, There he sat with pride, still standing tall, All the king's horses and all the king's men, Couldn't believe they were seeing Humpty again.   Since then, every scar he wore with pride, A testimony, to his spirit that never died, Now his heart is at peace with itself, Happy, that he did not give up on himself.
